The Southern California Collegiate Football Officials Association will be holding a one day symposium for Deep Officials on Saturday August 2nd at Bellflower High School. The symposium is intended for all SCCFOA officials working FJ, SJ, BJ positions. Topics to be covered include the Kicking Game, Passing Game, Ball and Clock Mechanics, Communication w/ Coaches, and Dead Ball coverage. Instructors will be Southern California NCAA Division 1 officials from Pac-10, MWC, and WAC. This is first time we have had all three deep positions together so emphasis will be on Deep Official ‘coordination’ and working as a team to cover play situations.
